The Stellenbosch Wine Auction is a long-standing dream of mine to launch a high-end auction similar in nature to the Napa Valley Wine Auction and the Hospice du Beaune. My dream is to spend the next decade building an event which will eventually come to be seen as one of the great wine events of the world. The concept is entirely non-profit and will endeavor to raise as much money for charity every year as is possible. It will also be a festival of fun, fine wine and fine food where great characters of gastronomy get to mingle with great wine lovers from throughout the world. It is hoped that the Stellenbosch Wine Auction will add to the development of a a raised profile for generic brand South Africa - and for it's wines. I will not be able to do it alone.
